QRcode in EntomoLabels

A QR code uses four standardized encoding modes (numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary, and kanji) to store data efficiently. It enables encoding of kanji / kana characters, hence it is popular in Japan. In addition, it allows you to encode characters that belong to the Arabic, Greek, Hebrew or Cyrillic alphabet as well as other symbols specified by the user.

QR Code is available in two versions: basic (Model 1) and extended (Model 2), which allows you to encode up to 7089 numerical characters, 4296 alphanumeric characters, 1817 Kanji characters, 2953 eight-bit binary data or 984 UTF-8 characters.
